Specially formulated with 100% natural lavender essential oil and high-purity mineral oil, this custom-balanced open medium provides the ideal combination of smooth flow, extended working time, and effortless detail control.

Unlike traditional turpentine-based mediums (Fat Oil / Essence Grasse) or heavy thinning oils, this medium never dries out on your palette.

Subtle, delicate natural lavender scent that won't overwhelm your studio workspace (much lighter and gentler than  thinning oil No. 5).

10 ml. bottle features a convenient needle tip, allowing for precise, drop-by-drop control. Provides the ideal viscosity for mixing enamels to be applied with a brush, pen, or syringe.

RECOMMENDED APLICATIONS:
Mix with onglaze enamel powder to create a paint suitable for detailed brushwork and shading on top of fired enamel bases.

FIRING RECOMENDATION:
Before firing, the oil must be completely dry. Place your enameled piece near the open kiln door or on top of a warm kiln to pre-heat. To dry off the oil faster: place the piece inside a hot kiln for 3–5 seconds, pull it out, and repeat this process 2–3 times until the oil stops smoking and the surface appears dry and matte. Once the oil has cleanly evaporated and burned off without bubbling, fire the piece as usual at full temperature.
