This Backing Pad is the quickest and easiest way for enamelists and jewelers to achieve perfectly flat and polished surfaces on both enamel and metal.
This disc requires the sandpaper to be bonded to its surface. We recommend using a strong, universal contact adhesive, such as Moment Glue, to secure the sandpaper.
For maximum efficiency, you can glue the entire sequence of sandpaper discs (P600, P800, P1000, P1500, P2000) one on top of the other onto the disc surface.
Once the P2000 grit is fully used, the entire stack all sandpaper discs, along with the Moment Glue residue, can be easily and safely removed from the disc surface by applying acetone. This leaves a clean surface, ready for the next stack.
